Yes, you do get XBox Live silver for free, when you purchase the 360, and this allows you to download stuff. You just can't play online.

I agree! It sucks that the 360 version is missing alot of things, but Pro Evo is about gameplay, and once again Konami have done their job well in this department. I am especially impressed with the AI of the opposition team. I think that they play tactically very well against me.

I don't get this "slowdown on widescreen" thing. Are you guys talking about selecting "wide camera" mode in the game, or setting your TV in widescreen mode? I play on a Phillips 32" widescreen(not flat) and i don't feel any slowdown.

I have the Xbox version and noticed that the formations are missing from the entrance scene. Is it also like this in the PS2 version? It used to be en PES 4 and was the only thing i actually thought was worth watching from the entrance scenes.
