Fouls are so rare in this game it takes a lot of the fun out of it, as it doesn't really feel like a hard fought match like you see in real life. We've had a couple of patches since release, but none have addressed this most obvious and glaring problem. Just disappointing is all. :no:

Lol, nope, this didn't work. SMH. I mapped the R to X and vice versa, and still got a chip shot most of the time. You have to be lightning fast, or be lucky enough to get an instance where the player is in an animation that affords you some time. Was this game even tested?! There's no way...

Okay this ^ issue is killing the game. It takes a lot of the fun out, when at a tense moment of the match you go for a controlled shot, only to have it not register and turn into a chip shot. The window of opportunity for a double tap of the R button is way too small... I'm going to try...

I think maybe that tweet gave it away, as all the games I've pre-ordered from the PSN have come with a XMB theme.

Any news on if this year's game will be available as a digital download? Konami seems stuck in 2010 in this regard, as the majority of games are now being released on the PlayStation Store along side the retail release. I wonder if they'll get their arse in gear.
