I wish I knew the answer to this one. The only way I know now is by noting how many goals each player has before the game and then checking again after the game. Very painful and you still don't know how or when the goals were scored.

I think the length of the experience bar is based only upon each player's individual development curve. I don't think there is anything you can do to change it. In past years, winning made you players improve faster but I'm not sure if that is case anymore. I haven't noticed a difference.

When I dont want to re-sign a player, I always lower my offer to him to something that I'm sure he would refuse. The player puts the contract negotiations on hold and that doesn't seem to affect the other players on your team as far as I can tell.
