Run around and nutmegs are greatly assisted by high explosive stats. Hold R2 as you are approaching your marker(s) and then dart past him/them with R2. Hazard is an absolute master of this.

Don't forget the attack and defence stat. Cr7 in defence will be out of position and stuff... I played a coach mode MLO game the other day where my opponent was using cr7 in defence! He wasn't effective. I won the match 3-0 and got about 4mill for my troubles...

This is a problem. At times when you should be easily intercepting and cutting out the balls your defender just goes AWOL... Sometimes madly tapping square (on ps3) helps as it will lock the defender on to the ball. It's rather annoying to have to do this as u should just be able to intercept...

The only problem with keepers is their stupidity vs speed-merchants. Otherwise they are epic. My 75 rated keeper has performed many heroics which literally left me awe struck...

Use R2+X.. Hold both down as he gets near you, then when you're close enough or he's about to sprint off release R2 and bam! The ball's yours. Defending is immense this year.
