I will give it a try, I had mastered pes6 but still having trouble with pes 2008 at top level. I have been switching between some formations, usually the best is 4-4-2 with one DM for me :)

Yeah, settings are silly and without the patches PES looks like a pathetic game imo.

Disagreed! PC version is much better. With kitserver installed, there is widescreen support and with all the excellent patches around PC version becomes the excellent PES experience.

Jon Champions sounds great!! I hate current pes commentary, whenever I hear it I just want to alt+f4 :D hence I changed it to Fifa commentary. This is great news...
