I get crc errors too. Seems part 1 of this is corrupt. Still you will be able to install the extracted file, with 1 error during installation about a particular file. In saying that the patch doesn't do anything for me. Emblems etc are not real.

I have to disagree there. i think if ea's fifa has good sales year in year out they wouldn't just go about changing things quickly (ala 'if it ain't broke don't fix it') albeit they haven't added anything significant since bap. It's true pes gameplay (before 08) is better than fifa's...

I have been playing football games since the first fifa was released and converted when pes5 came out like somebody else it totally blew my mind. Pes6 was a solid game too but when 2008 came out it wasn't as good as they made it out to be. Although i thought to myself maybe they will get it...

just take a look at fifa 07 the first attempt at "next-gen" it wasn't so flash. so as pes08. wait for next years edition. pc version of fifa08 is like dogs poo. even fifa road to world cup 98 is better than that.
