I agree that the AI is scripted, one thing I've noticed is that the team you play as seems to perform weaker against stronger teams, they make more mistakes miss simple chances on goal, don't defend properly, don't pass properly compared to when they play crap teams where they play much better.

Sorry I didn't read that post :blush: The other guy who reported this fault had an xbox I only assumed that you'll be running it on one too. Have you tried changing the in-game resolution, also you could check your DirectX (using dxdiag) maybe there is some sort of problem there.

Actually there was someone with the same problem a few months back with a similar screenshot (I assume you are playing on a console), I remember reading it and there was a solution, i've been searching for it but have been unable to find it. However from what I remember it mentioned something...

What annoys me is BAL defence. For some reason a defender always seems to randomly boot it out whenever they obtain the ball on the wing parallel to the teams' penalty area, its as if the ball had metal inside it (well it would explain ball physics!) and the touchline had some magnetic iron ore...

It's actually better playing for a team where you get substitued early since the team actually plays better due to the fact that the team-mate AI is replaced with regular team AI, with no stupid defenders!

yeah, my fatigue seems to be quite high before I reach a friendly match plus the fact I'm now playing for my 4th club also :).

I'm currently past the first few matches in my 4th season, part way through the 3rd season however I noticed that I was no longer being picked for training matches with the message: "You have not been included in the starting lineup this week due to squad rotation, stay in-shape for next week!"...

Its annoying the fact that time can be fast-forwarded in BAL but not in ML.

Yes that is correct, although stamina is a reason for being substituted. When you sign for a club you'll see a match oppertunities percentage meter, the higher this is the more likely you will get to play full 90 mins. I recently signed for Feyenoord (with match oppertunity being around 80%)...

Hopefully it will fix the defenders within BAL, as the defence in BAL make terrible decisions (kicking out the ball for a throw-in where it could easily be passed to a centre forward)

omg i just went back to the original game after using v1.05 patch, i didn't realize how much better it was with the patch, and how crap the AI was originally, has anyone played BAL with patch v1.07, what are the differences compared with v1.05
