I'm still on the mod version along with my real-life mates. Standalone just not ready enough to make it better than mod version.

Yeah, I actually still have both my Subbuteo and Pro Action Football sets, in good nick. Think Subbuteo was the daddy, though. But Pro Action Football a legitimate challenger to the crown.

That right there is your answer. Also - your social club will be linked to all of your characters. You'd be surprised how quickly it adds up. I've just checked my FM 2013 save and it is 2 days, 3 hours and 52 minutes...and I've barely played it at all.
