Yup, I'm with you on this. I actually prefer this year's PES to FIFA 13, but the online community somehow manages to be worse and the game is easier (how!???) to exploit
I will say that from what I can see the negotiations of players seems to be completely automated - there wasn't any option to do it manually (like I think you could in 2012>???). I'm struggling players even in low 70's atm
I'm probably not the best person to ask, as I barely played PES 2012 so don't really know which stuff is new.
Also, Im playing training matches with a second division team in Div 2 and barely anyone even bothers to come and watch me
Yeah you do have those strange cut-scenes with your weird staff/advisors every week btw.. I would like to say it makes it more immersive, but it really doesn't.
Dude it's great. Gameplay still feels superb, and I am almost certain this is the year I focus on PES over FIFA again (althoguh I will still stick with FIFA for Clubs - a game mode PES really needs to steal)
Alright, so I just got awarded my first pair of boots after losing my training match.. Looks like they might be quite important in ML. Not that that is necessarily a bad thing, will let you know.
Keepers are definitely still a bit floaty. I will say though that they seem well balanced and I haven't seen any ridiculous animation glitches yet.
Commentary is still atrocious. Utterly atrocious. I remember better commentary on Actua Soccer back on the ps1 with Barry Davies!
Playing on professional at the moment. I'm pretty good at FIFA 12 (division 1) but it's gonna take me a while to get used to PES 13, although I have played (and loved) the demo a lot.
Alright, back now. Just playing a couple of games of ML to see about these cut-scenes and perhaps how the boot stuff works.
As a relative PES newb, everyone uses the PES default rubbish players in ML, not the actual team's players, right?
Could you let me know what to be looking out for??
As I said previously, I've been a FIFA person for the past couple of years, so I may not be the best person to pick out nuances just yet.
Bear in mind that it may be almost exactly the same as demo 2
Edit: Same with Edit Mode. Any specific...
Anyway, I'm off out for the afternoon. But if you guys have any more stuff you want me to check then let me know and I'll get back down to business this evening
As far as I can see, there is no option to turn the boots off.. There are loads of different items you can buy, like fitness boosts, position training skills, and stuff like that.. Still it's a shame that that stuff isn't optional.
Whether or not it will be that invasive with regard to the ML...
