The original ML players don't have much room for improvement. A few of them do have the potential to get better but for the most part they stay the same. At least that's what I've seen so far, though to be fair I have to say I had replaced my eleven by the beginning-middle of the second season.

As far as I've seen, no it is not possible to create a custom league in ML anymore. I read somewhere that you can kind of circumvent this by moving your favorite teams to a single league and then choosing that when you start a new ML game. I haven't tried this but it sounds like it'd work.

Some people don't realize that the AI cheating in games is a rather common occurrence as it's an easy way for developers to balance difficulty. This is only a problem when the cheating is so blatant that the player can see right through it, thus creating frustration.

Most of them new to PES? No. It's true quite a few of them were replaced in the latest game, but still a good part of the team from the old days survives the ages. And they don't have random stats, they're just terrible.

If you unlocked it, the option will appear when you start a new master league. On a side note, calling ML players "random" is blasphemy! Most of them have been in the game longer than pretty much any real life player. There are probably some exceptions to this, but not many.

I got him from the "OTHER" section, but then I reloaded an older save and he plays for WE UNITED. In 2012 he's 36 so I'm guessing he retired and he has awesome stats as a youngster and then degrades, but I haven't played a lot in the past few days so I don't know how his stats progress.
