Do I have to save the preset faces or whatever first so I don't lose them using this or no? Should I wait for the PES Day 1 update first? Sorry for all these newb questions. It's been a while for me.

How is that better? Makes it less realistic. You don't get many free kicks, you'll rarely get a penalty kick, and you'll almost never play against 10 players because no one will ever get sent off. This referee bug is one of the biggest in the game, IMO.
