That's very strange.. Weird that some people are not having issues whilst others are. Hopefully this could mean that a patch could fix the problems (Fingers crossed!)

Actually I didn't touch last years online after experiencing the horrible lag. I was just looking forward to playing the new online game modes! Luckily, I prefer the offline gameplay of Pro Evo over Fifa, so I will stick with it. I think it's wrong to say that we should just cope with rubbish...

It's such a shame this year as well. I was especially looking forward to playing online Champions League! If you want to play an online footie game, I would have to recommend the FIFA abomination, I'm afraid.. At least it works!

I absolutely agree. I'm on a 8Mb connection with wireless (PS3) and I have yet to experience a lag free online match (I've played about 15 games!) The main problem for me is the button response time - I regularly have a delay of about 2 secs from when I press a button to the action on screen...

hi Leo. You're patch works ok for me but I have a problem. I normally play my PES5 without the cd using a no cd fix (I do own the game but I do not always want to insert disc to play:)). When I copied your PES5.exe to my PES folder, the game would not start without the cd - it gave a message...
