Sorry but how does FIFA encourage freedom? Everytime i play FIFA it turns into tennis, Ball hammerd from defense to an unmarked striker. And the way the field is set out in FIFA is awful.GK-Defense -Big Gap - Midfield - Big Gap - Striker.

I dont have a problem with 1-1's, just choose your direction before you press the shoot button, and make sure you aint to close to the keeper other wise he'll block everything.
