Lost players

Hey guys,
I'm wondering, someone got a ted-file or is there a possibility to bring back "lost players" after the new DataPack?
For example Daniel Schwaab was part of the game, but he disappeared, when you re-install the game (unfortunaly I have no CD for the first time). So when I download the game again, it automatical install DP2 and lose all players without a club from DP1
Greetings!

Is it possible to go back to DP1 in PS4? If so I can go back and get the removed players in a TED.

I’m still building my OF so don’t mind losing what I’ve got installed so far - everything is backed up.

I am on PS4 and I have recovered several players that disappeared.

If you're on PS4 as well, try to:
- Export a team to your USB flash drive (preferably a fake/generic team, but I think any will do)
- Go to https://wepes.github.io/ and open the .ted file in there
- Copy the ID of the player you want to recover into any player of that team *
- Save the .ted file (Save as PES 2021 in-game, and with a different name, don't overwrite the original .ted)
- Copy the .ted to your USB flash drive, and import it in-game. EDIT: Don't forget to check the box to import player data
- Go to the team you just imported, and reset the player you changed the ID (go into players, select the player and press triangle to reset). You should now have the player with it's stats, face, etc.
- Import the original .ted file you exported in the 1st step to get the team back in its original state, and the player you just recovered will be on free agents, ready to be put into any team you want.

I tried with several players I'm going to need for a project I'm working (around 20-30 players, even one that had a preset face), and it worked, I managed to recover all of them.

This method isn't limited to just one player per team obviously, you can replace as many IDs as the number of players on the team you exported and recover that many players at once.

*P.S. - you can find the ID of the player on the PESMaster url. For example, on the player you listed, https://www.pesmaster.com/d-schwaab/pes-2021/player/43444/, the ID is 43444.

Do you need any other programme other than the Link mate for this to work?

No, that tool runs on your browser, unlike last year you don't even need excel if you just want to recover players ;) Just follow those steps and it should work (I recovered around 20 players with that method, but if it doesn't work tell me something, I will try to help)

Is it possible to recover players like Reus, Hummels or Bürki with their real face with this method?

You can only recover what's been deleted from PES 2021 (Konami deletes several free agents on Data Packs/updates, I found out that several players I would need on my project have been deleted but I managed to recover them all), you can't really recover players from past games as they have been deleted from the database and their face is no longer present at all.

Philip, sent you a PM about a discovering with Player IDs that may help your project.

Thank you, I've seen it and answered. :)

You're welcome, let me know if everything goes well!

Thank you so much, you legend! Helped a lot :)

Btw, it's such a shame about older PES-faces like Hummels, Reus and other players... I was kind of hoping they would put them into Free Agency, but I guess that's a feature we never gonna get :/

Btw, just saw the "Reputation" and "Attitude" possibility at the editor. What exactly changes, when I edit it?
And someone tries to use the ID's of "older" players? :p
I'm about to edit a file and put in for example Reus ID (45944), lets see what happens :D

I still haven’t figured that out yet. Will probably have to change a few, import, and compare in ML to the default setting.

I'm not really sure. "Reputation" perhaps affects something in Master League? (salaries/value of a player or something like that?) "Attitude" perhaps affects what a player does after missing a goal, making a foul/getting a card, etc?? (I doubt it but it would need testing). I usually don't edit attitude but I edit "reputation" on my teams so better and more experient players have more reputation than the youngsters and lower rated players, but I'm not really sure what it does.

You can try to import a team with Reus' ID, but it will most likely either give an error or become a live update player that you can't reset (and thus unable to recover anything). Unfortunately I don't think it is possible to recover what has been removed entirely from the game... I'd be very surprised if it worked. But I wish you good luck anyway, it's worth a try :p

Yea, "Reputation" effects the value in Master League, I just tested it out. I guess "Attitude" has to do with the Form of a player, depends on what happens in a game, but couldn't figured it out yet.

Unfortunaly, it gave me an error, but well, it was worth the try :p

Great! Thanks for testing, at least I know I was doing something right :p

The error was expected, but now at least we are sure it doesn't work. It's because they really deleted it from the database.
