    However everytime when i load pes 2009 there is an error which reads "This application has failed to start because d3dx9_27.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

    My kit server is in that very same folder which you have stated. The edit file is also in the right place however I cant open it to test it as I do not have an application that can open it.

    It is in my pro evolution folder. However the old img folder is also in that folder. Could it be the reason why I am experiencing this problem?

    Sorry for asking a stupid question, I have intalled the patch following the instructions and the data is ok however I am still having the old kits and no new stadiums and boots. I have already run kitserver and it states that it is installed. Is there anyone who can help me.Thanks!
