well, they were standing still opposite to each other (in an argument) when the attacker pushed his head forward against the goalkeeper's, i was standing merely 2 metres away from them! i also heard he quit playing football after that incident

in fact, i had to give a player a red card for headbutting the opposite goalkeeper in my very first 'senior' league game (in 4th provincial division - which is the lowest). quite an introduction, that is :D

not yet, but i sometimes get close... last month a -18 player from a belgian premier league team was suspended for 6 games after i sent him off (3rd red card in 5 minutes for the same team :D) and the team was fined €250 for 'intimidating' me and my assistant referees. but i never got beaten up...

if you have just bought a lot of new players these pre season games are useful to boost their team work stats. it's also a great way to improve on your promising players if you play them and you get some extra cash and you can still make transfers in between these games... so, why not?

i just meant that 4 s-american teams isn't that great either they create plenty of s-american teams or none at all
