The trick I used in the races was to never go barrelling ahead out of control. The other cars are never all that fast, and they make mistakes, so use that. Get ahead, then concentrate on keeping a steady speed. If you have tried a few times you should have an idea where the course goes, if not...

Considering it uses the exact same engine, of course it will. Like any online game it depends on who you play with, but DoD seems to lack the whiney kids CS has for the most part, and it comes down to personal preference for the setting of the game.

Yeah that's true. That's just because it's the same old CS, just using the engine from HL2. I guess what I really meant was "bring on DoD 2". But that, and CS 2, are a while away yet I think.

Graphics, and the controls. Nothing a console can give you beats a mouse and keyboard for speed and responsiveness. That and, depending on your PC, the lack of lag, ability to customize, and ability to patch any glitches. So that's pretty much everything then. :p

Yeah it looks really nice. Mind you, the noise of the original doesn't bother me much, my PC has 6 fans and drowns out all other noise in my house.

It does get frustrating that the goalies pull off some awesome saves, and that corners are a lot harder than before, but the same applies for the comp...it seems to have a hard time with these things too so I guess it balances out. The editing was a pain, but maybe if we didn't have to do it...

Nope, not just your opinion, it's a lot of other peoples opinions as well. It's still just a question of personal preference though.

All of this is true, the online capabilities, and hardware specs, of the X-Box are far superior to the PS2. For those reasons, I got PES4 on PS2 to keep me going until I can get it for my PC.
