Thats nuthin new, I worked that out on the demo m8 :) . Its good because you can tee the ball up for a volley or half-volley, but then the shot ALWAYS goes off target. Try it and see what I mean. :D

In master league I use 3 at the back, Nesta, Maldini and Roberto Carlos with Vieira sitting just infront of them. Whenever the opponent attacks I simply hold [], and Vieira trots back and tackles them. Flawless. :)

Yeah m8, I remember wondering where my players were when I started my first Master League on PES, but I found that its the best mode of the game by far.

I have to say that I didn't like it when I bought it, but now I'm doind Master League on 5 stars and I'm happy for stickin with it. It just takes some times to adjust to, like how PES2 was different to PES.

Also, if you have space hold r1 and move back a little to chest the ball down, and then you can take the ball on the volley or half-volley depending on the technique of the player :)
