That's odd. I noticed a significant slowdown in game speed when I unlocked the "double speed" feature from the PES shop. Assuming you downloaded the option file with everything unlocked, you probably have to same problem. Maybe it's a good idea to get the file with nothing unlocked.

No updated player stats? Or new players?

Ah, that's a shame. You'd have thought a create new team option would be something Konami would've automatically put in the game. I'm guessing you have to overwrite the players in that team aswell? Perhaps I'll copy any overwrited ones as new players. So are there any fictional teams that...

Yeah, this is something I'm trying to find out too. I want to register Klinsmann to Classic Germany, and Adams, Barnes and Ian Wright to Classic England. But I have no idea how.
