Personally I play 10 mins in my ML, but playing againts friends (IRL) we mostly play for 15 mins. It's a shame you can't set the playing time more acurately like you can in FIFA, but 10 mins does the job most of the time.

How do you press the black button and the shoot button at the same time? I just can't get it right in-game.

In PES 4 you can't. For the adidas-sponsored teams you can use the shirts, shorts and socks with the adidas logo on them, but for the rest you can just use the country-flag. In PES 5 you can edit teamsponsors and logos, but that wasn't your question.
