Yeah I noticed that after watching a replay I scored with my ML team. Don't think there's anything we can do about it. Another cock up added to the list.

Has anyone tried setting the keepers defense to high with an arrow facing toward the goal? In theory this should keep him closer to the goal and make him harder to beat.

Doubt my PC would be able to handle it mate. I'm enjoying the PS3 version just fine. Kind of annoying the slowdown screws up the replays but I wouldn't say the game's "terrible" because of it.

I was thinking of doing the same thing, but it only affects replays with me. Most other scenes (cards, etc) are fine. Gameplay is as smooth as ever.

So the problem may be that the game is only configured for 720p mode? Perhaps that's why some people say the slowdown is terrible and others think it's barely noticeable. Has anyone played the game in 720p and had bad slowdown?

They might do, but I think that's printed on all Xbox Live aware games, although I may be wrong.

Well I enjoyed the demo vastly, regardless of the slowdown, so I'm willing to bet I'd enjoy the full game just as much. Where else am I going to get my football gaming fix to see me through until next year? Certainly not from Fifa (although I enjoyed this years effort).

I went for 'good.' PES3 is still my all time favourite. The pace of the matches were just superb, very fast and unpredictable.

I dunno, the ball does move faster. But it beats floating 'em in, as so many shots seemed in the previous PES/WE titles. I don't think it effects the ammount of long range goals scored or anything like that, so i'm happy with it. I've only scored 2 or 3 long range shots so far, which is more...

Tis good, i had a go on WE10 as Mexico. It's alot more challenging then you'd think, but alot of fun too. Haven't had one in PES6 yet, but i'd imagine it's pretty similar.

I just find the realistic approach more challenging. 'To each, their own' i guess...

I've started with Sporting Lisbon and i'm having a 'realistic' ML. So whenever a top team wants my players; i'm gonna sell. Also i'll only be signing players who Sporting would have a chance at signing in real life. This is the best way to enjoy ML, i think. ;) Think i'll bring Figo back to...

Hmm... i suppose it could still work with honest players though. Where's the fun in cheating to win a match on an online thread? If you set out the rules before hand, i suppose most people would post honest results and play on the settings required.

You can create your own team on the PS2 version, but not on the 360 - probably because the 360 version doesn't include any editing options whatsoever. And yes you can still switch players for your custom club.

Nice team, the Tevez/Rooney partnership would be an interesting one. I however suffer from indecisiveness... i just can't pick a team. I choose one team and change to another after a couple of games. Think i'll try starting another ML later with Cagliari, had fun playing as them in PES5.

4-2-1-2-1 I find this the all around best formation and the most exciting to play with. Although i do like overly defensive formations sometimes, as it's harder to score and makes the flow of the match more realistic.
