hi,

i have played about 20 games with Liverpool (all competitions), i am in 10th position in premier league at professional level since i have really hard time at top level. I am playing the game with the option on for club management. At the beginning of September, i have checked the finances and I had a positive balance. Now i am at the end of november and suddenly i checked the balance (in order to check for potential signings) and is very very negative since all revenue items are 0. I was shocked. So,do you now (i) is a new feature of ML at pro2012? (ii) is there any bug? (iii) does the boss takes all your revenues?

Have you noticed something similar?

I would appreciate your feedback.

Thanks a lot

From what i've experienced there are only revenues/incomes once or twice a year (fan membership and merchandise), and of course match day revenue when playing at home. And then if you sell players during the transfer windows of course. Also you get money, from getting through the group stages in EL/CL and if you meet the sponsors criterias such as winning 5 consecutive teams at home etc. Keep it up mate.

Don't worry about being in negative revenue, even though it says once you have paid staff and players salaries etc.. you will be in negative, because you have already paid it, it's going off next years wages, where you will have sponsors, season ticket funds coming in before you have to pay wages again

Thanks a lot! This is a relief! As far a I remember (from 2005), this did not happen to show 0 income during the season. The strange is that do not show even the income generating from the next game at home.

Expecting Earnings is not working as it use to in 2011. Approximate match revenue and Prizes are not been added. Sponsor income is only added at the beginning of the session, before you pay everything.

So, actually, the expected earnings does not help you to have a realistic picture of the current balance situation. You can not actually plan (with a rough estimate) how much you can afford on December for potential signings. I think this change is not in the positive direction.

Yep. Its probably worth taking a note of what you earn in the offseason (fan income etc) and over the course of the season (matchday revenues) so you can estimate and prepare your transfer / wage budget properly.

But no its not good.

Hi, just found this thread and I think it answers the question I had. I am only in my first season, but I only seem to make money from selling players, and not from any match day revenue like in the past. Will this catch up at some point (with a big payout), and if so, when? At the moment I'm just approaching the January transfer window and checking the expected earnings, it's looking like I'm not going to be able to keep all my players.

i have the same problem- did it work out for you? I got to the end of a season and had no money (had only bought 1 player and 2 or 3 from youth team all season) team was bust and it auto sold off load of players. didn't see any chance to choose sponsor or get any match fees for home games.. I think a bug?
