would anyone be interested in helping me update the stats for players on this option file, I've been working on it and have knocked out the major teams but I figure with some help from other people we could knock it out quickly...

hey... ive been reading this page for the past couple of days .. and i noticed a couple of people having corrupted data come up and the option file just plain doesnt work..

has anyone come up with a solution to this?

ive been trying everything for the past week and i cant seem to get it to w ork... i always end up with a corrupted data pop up after the press start screen..

ive pretty sure ive followed instructions on how to put the file and all but it doesnt seem to work..

any ideas??

i really dont want to have to go and buy the european version as i have just bought the american version. :|

I downloaded the first file in the first post of this thread (version1, from rapidshare), followed the instructions, and at first it wasn't showing up when I plugged in my USB device to my PS3. So I copied my own option file onto the device and saw that you need to have the right folders in place. You should have the folders set up like this:

ps3>SAVEDATA>(then all the pro evo save folders)

In other words, all the unzipped pro evo folders should be put into a folder named "SAVEDATA" which should be put into a folder named "ps3".

When I had the folders all set up the save files were showing up on my PS3, and then I decided to just copy the edit file (not the kits, or the option file... Just because I preferred it that way) and it worked... No corrupted data or anything.

Maybe YOu would like to add the Copa LiBertadores to it.. will be great.. otherwise maybe some one know any OF for US ver. similiar to this but with Boca Juniors..

I'm currently working on a file that takes the two teams from league B, PES United and WE United, and turns them into Boca Juniors and Werder Bremen. I'm almost done.

I'm not going to do anything with league C, and all those ugly badges.

the files show up on the usb stick its just that the edit file sometimes shows up as corrupted or if it showed up ok then when it loads it pes tells me its corrupt...

ill give it another go tho.. i really hope it works... i dont want to go out and buy another pes (euro) just for the option file seein as pes 2009 is a couple of months away..

Could You add Boca Juniors and whatever You want to add the the previous Option File you made coz this file contain only thoes 2 new teams !.

Something to watch for!

Just something I noticed the other night; I was messing around with different files, eventually deleted everything and reloaded MrGameTight's last post;

In the "no belonging" players section there's a ton of duplicates starting about halfway down. Lots of N. Irish, Welsh, Germans, Croatians, Serbians, etc. I personally went through and "cleared" some of their stats so they dont start popping up on teams in ML mode.

I also went in and adjusted stats for the guys who have moved up/down. Nothing crazy scientific, but bump ups for guys like Ronaldo (who learned to score), Bojan, Gareth Barry, etc. Bump downs for out of form players like Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Sheva, and eliminating position bugs like Vidic playing DMid and Ben Haim playing CB. Yeah the position changes might not be accurate but Man U always played Vidic in midfield pushing Ronaldo out of the starting lineup.

If anyone's interested I could see if I can post/email my changes, specifically to help out a larger project.

but i had a really small problem. i did everything that you told me about i copied everything in the saved file in ps3 but when i start the game i cant find any result for example when i play with man u there kit is just the same i mean the unreal 1 and yeah i deleted all the old pes2008 files ..

can this be changed to EU?

Like the only person to have the sence of not changing stats is this guy but its a US file.
