4:3 resolutions provide better response times

4:3 resolutions (like 1152x864) provide an almost indistinct response time...

Non 4:3 resolutions are normally slower....

Disabling V-sync has different results with different resolutions... being almost indistinct with 1440x900 (16:10) and noticeable on 1152x864 (4:3)....

Frame skipping has no noticeable effect in any resolution.

P.S: It's not a matter of fps as the game is capped at 63.... 60 with v-sync on.

Seems my initial report was incorrect.... or at least incomplete...

I have now found a way to play the game on a 16:10 resolution without any noticeable response time slowness.

Well, finally found something that works for me!!!!

In "settings":

1440x900, 16x9,LB unticked, v-sync ticked.

In NVIDIA control panel:

I created a profile for PES 2010,

Anistropic filtering: 16
Antialiasing - Gamma correction: Use global setting (on)
Antialiasing Mode: Enhance the application setting
Antialiasing - Setting: Use global setting (Application controlled)
Antialiasing Transparency: Supersampling
Conformant texture clamp: Use global setting (Use Hardware)
Error reporting: use global setting (off)
Extension limit: Use global setting (off)
Maximum pre-rendered frames: 0
Multiple display/mixed GPU accelaration: Use global setting (Multiple display performance)
Texture filtering - Anistropic sample option: Use global setting (off)
Texture filtering - Negative LOD bias: Use global setting (Clamp)
Texture filtering - Quality: Use global setting (High Quality)
Texture filtering - Trilinear Optimization: Use global setting (off)
Threaded optimization: Use global setting (on)
Triple buffering: on
Vertical sync: Use global setting (Use the 3D application setting)

Don't ask me what was the deciding factor... but I guess it must have been a mix of max pre-rendered frames at 0, triple buffering on and v-sync on (in the settings).

I'm so glad I finally sorted it out!!!!
