I am a bit confused by the transfer system in PES2012. Im not sure how you tell whether you are able to sign a player or not. I found the little affection bar, but as far as i can see this is irrelevant to whether a player will come to my team or not.

Secondly, youth investment. Ive invested 10mil 3 seasons in a row, and the best youth player ive had is a 63 y/o right back. Anyone got any tips?

If you want players that are easy to sign and won't break your budget bank, look in the 'list of targets' which is really useful. Also if a player is in transfer list, he will be easier to sign. The lower the affection bar and popularity, the easier it also is to sign him. Also see what the scout reports about him
