Hi all. Nothing majorly amazing in here so don't flame me too much ;-p

Here is a video of the XBOX360 version of PES09 made at the national finals of PES2008. You could play as about 5 international teams, including Spain, Argentina, Brazil, France and Croatia. This match features France and France (for some reason!).

And here are the formations used by the two PES08 grand finalists. It finished 3-2 to Brazil. But this was more due to the luck of which seat he was sitting in than much to do with actual PES gameplay.

thanks dude, at last some player ratings! It seems though Konami actually put in some effort with the ratings, if you look at Ronaldinho, Messi, Adriano, Tevez etc.

Where did you get these?

looks good, still surprised messi is not so good but i guess thats for development reasons.

Do u know if there is gonna be a big stats expose like for pes 6 where we get stats for all countries and teams???

Stats are looking good. There's still a part of me that thinks it looks like PES08. Oh well. Only time will tell.

I got these at the national finals for PES08 which took place in London last month. There were 4 pods where up to 8 people could play PES09. I don't think many people played the new one too long as they had to concentrate on doing well in the current version! The new one is a lot slower and dribbling past players is harder. Graphically, on the 360 it looked quite amazing. I wasn't a fan of all the whiteness in the formation screen but that could change by the time it's released.

I don't know if there will be any stats exposes but you never know. Someone else may make a video like one I saw for a previous version of the game, just flicking through some teams to see player stats. I think Messi looks very good! He's not amazing at everything just yet ;)

The abilites changed a bit and to the better. I wish to see more players. This game is even gonna better pes 5.

So has Makelele (or at least he keeps trying to retire! :D). I always update the squads myself anyway. The PES08 default England squad was awful!

This is all the pics I have from that day so no more to come, sorry. Unless people want to see more pictures from the finals, including Konami's super amazing special guest star from the Premiership.... Mark Noble.

yeah fuck, and if you consider Messi will probably develop a lot more in ML, then I don't want to know with what stats he will end up with! There is so many players whose stats I want to see :(

Naldo in the Brazil squad?? He only played for it seven times, if Im not mistaken.
Why is the resistance of the players low? It is annoying when players have low resistance. Messi shouldnt have low resistance, he completes the whole match without being tired.
