here's what i'd like to know ... this year, Konami implemented a variable amount of training points each team offers it's players (like it's been used for master league, i believe), which i've greeted happily.. but there are some things regarding this i hope i can get some answers on;

After a rather successful season at VVV Venlo as a SS, i've moved on to play for Barcelona after the first season, in order to get the most out of my training (they offered 18 tp's, i think).. however, having to compete with loads of other SS positioned players (like 4 or 5 + messi) i hardly got the chance to play more than 50 minutes (at least i thought that was the reason) so at the half season i moved to what i felt was a less competitive AC Milan, who also provided 18 training points... i'm in my third season playing for Milan, i've become ''indispensable'' for the club and have been playing fairly well, given the time i get on the pitch - which is still around 50-60 minutes in 99% of the league matches no matter how well i play!? (my stamina is 73, btw)

my problem, however, is; needless to say, being constantly subbed shortly after the first half, my ratings have dropped and i rarely get a 7.5 rating anymore (mostly it's 6.5, to be honest) and i'm not sure, but i think this also affects the amount of experience i receive after the match..

.. so what i'd like to know is:

- do i constantly get subbed because of my stamina or because the manager wants to enable other players (who, truthfully, have a better overall than myself) to play (or both)?

- do better ratings improve experience? and in relation to those questions, is it therefore better to get yourself into a top team, who offers quality training but restricts you otherwise, or to spend the early ages in a less competitive, yet lower quality teams in order to get the most out of the actual playing experience?

for instance, i'm a liverpool fan, and i'd love to play for them, but since they only provide 14,15 training points i'm afraid my player's stats won't increase as much as with teams like barca, madrid and chelsea (for some reason:p)

thanks:)

Ok this is my theory I've come to regarding the subbing issue. Sometimes I think a manager just doesn't like you & no matter what you do you get subbed around the 60 min mark. I'm currently in my 5th season, 1st 2 years at Evian sometimes I would be subbed, sometimes not but understandable due to low stamina.

Next 18 months at Twente straight into the 1st team only ever subbed late on when the manager was removing me for a defensive player, even then only sometimes, more often than not I was moved from AM to DM (even though I don't have that position).

6 months at Dortmund, straight into 1st team again, but only twice playing past 60-65 minutes. I was prepared to stick it out for another season to see if it improved, but Milan came in for me so I moved.

I'm up to Feb & after being sub in the 1st game I have started every game since & just like at Twente have only been subbed off a couple of times. At all these teams I have played to a similar standard so I really think if your getting subbed all the time your best to move.

With the training points/playing time balance it depends 18tp with 60 mins each game will most likely be better than playing 90 mins with 10tp, but if you can get to a team with 14/15tp & play 90 mins you shouldn't see any real decrease in development. (Sorry for the long rambling post :) )

Not sure about this could be an age thing maybe becuase when i was a ac milan i got subbed at the 50 miniute mark then same at barca and i was under 20 year old at those clubs, only sometimes playing a bit more but maybe if you stay at a club a long time you eventually get to play more time.

Then i moved to manutd and got subbed off at the 50 miniute mark again started to annoy me but i kept going trying to play better and i did then i got to play all the game most of the time getting subbed occasionally late in the game then good season made captain and dont get subbed now, but whats annoying is instead of getting subbed i get put in DMF which is also annoying cause im a SS and have no experience there or card, well i should have now the amount of times i get put there.
