A question

I am playing at SS position, now more than halfway through my first season with Utrecht which I have enjoyed because of the first team role I have been getting. As I look to the next season I begin to think which team to go to next.

First it's Liverpool which is a team I personally support, provides a decent rate of appearance (about 53%) and has about 12 coaching points. Then Barcelona which certainly I wouldn't get much matches, but they have an impressive 17 coaching points which would certainly help my player improve faster. I am thinking of moving to Barcelona first to improve faster then join Liverpool but I'm unsure. So which move is better? Would the extra coaching points at Barcelona be substantial in my growth or would my player suffer from the lack of playing time?

Hi DestinyWings,

As you put it, if you're looking for your player to develop into a better player as more of a finished product, a move to Barcelona would be good. Better coaches certainly suggests your attributes will increase at a more efficient rate than if you were at Liverpool.

It's just a case of whether you'd rather just be playing in the behind-closed-doors practice games at the Nou Camp, or having more of a chance to establish yourself as a household name among the Liverpool faithful... Or you could even stay loyal to your current club Utrecht and become a legend there and become the captain within time?

Plenty of different factors to consider, but make the decision as if you were an actual footballer :D Oh and good luck with your career, both clubs are very good indeed, certainly a step up from Utrecht, so I wouldn't worry about it too much :)

Liverpool would probably be your best bet as although the coaching points are lower you will play more games which also makes your player improve as well.

I don't mind getting less playing time for a year or 2 at Barcelona if it means my player overall can improve greatly and become a regular at Liverpool later on. So is it better to join Barcelona?

What attributes does playing games improve?

Thanks for the reply guys.
