about Chance of Signing

Hi guys

I just finished my 1st half season ML by using original lineup team, trying to sign some good CBs from other teams with OVR around 70's, my question comes:

Chance of Signing has 5 blue bars, so how many blue bars do I need to have at least to successfully sign a player from other teams? I actually signed 2 youth players with full 5 bars. Can you sign a player with 3 bars?

Does anyone know how to increase Chance of Signing blue bars?
Maybe after up my club ranking, or winning a lot of important matches... dont know....

Admin Ali, I know you love playing ML, do you know the answers for my questions. THANKS

Other gamers, please help me, thanks.

I've managed to sign a few players with 2 bars, some got rejected, some I went straight back in again and they accepted 2nd time around!

I thought it was the other way around -ie easier to sign players with few bars. At least is was in PES 2015.

Thanks a lot for your valueable information, some good players from other teams usually only have 2 bars, will surely try your method to get the deal done. So does Chance of Signing have sth to do with your team's stats, like club ranking, or your team overall rating: FW MD DF. If your team has high international club ranking or OVR rating, perhaps you can increase chance of signing.... maybe not.

Do you guys think you can sign players with 3 bars? should give it a try.

It's worth a shot, it doesn't work all the time though! There's still a element of chance involved, which is great. I think there's a lot of factors which is good, makes it more realistic. It's a struggle to sign better players with bad teams, and that's how it should be.

No, I think the more blue bars you have, the higher chance of signing, because my youth players all have 5 full blue bars, can sign them successfully without transfer fees. I also signed a player with 4 bars.

@ nirvana 2006

Yes, I agree, there should be some efforts involved to sign your desired players, transfer is not only about money in real life.

Yeah, they've flipped it around this year! Makes more sense the way it is now though. Last year was more like "Affection for current club". This year is "Chances of signing"

In the older games, before they introduced player wages (I think), even iif you had a bid accepted the player could still turn you down. I used to cheat a bit and save the game first, then reload if they turned me down..... then keep doing that until they accept.

Ah, that clarifies it. Thanks.

Well, if we're talking about chances of signing I might as well bring this up.

When I try to include one of my players in a deal, as a trade, % of success always goes down to zero, even if I'm offering a much better player. Anybody having this issue?

Hi nirvana 2006

I tried to sign a player OVR 74 with 2 bars, and failed. I reloaded the save for 4 times but the negotiation still broke down, it says the player is well developed(sth like that) and he wont be easiely lured away.

Have not tried to sign someone with 3 bars, but I reckon it could be also rejected.... dont know

Barcelona signed Sergio Ramos from R. madrid, its ridiculous, how could that happen in reality. Real madrid DF rating dropped from 82 to 77 because of the transfer, its bullshit. I want to beat R. madrid with DF rating 82, its fun. KONAMI should stop some impossible transfers between top teams. I want to beat those top teams on Super star LV when they are in their prime in ML.

Still want to know the ways to increase Chances of signing, as transfer is very significant element for ML. Anyone got any ideas? plz share them
with me and other gamers, Thanks.

I'm playing with Pescara, and every player I bought had 2 bars or, in the case of Callum McManaman, through scouting.

Some (ok, everybody) would say that when Figo switched sides... there's no such thing as impossibilities in football.

rebelinho no 9k trick this year? Also, can I have your overall opinion on the transfer system?

Oh no, not even close. I can't even get the % of signing above 0% if I add a player for trade!

The transfer system is good, you can pretty much sign any player if you have the money and appeal, which is a nice addition. Unfortunately they removed our (the managers) part when renegotiating terms. You just choose whether to remove optional clauses, reduce the fees/wages, extend contracts, etc, but never the specific values. They show you a % of success, which is better than those smilie faces, but I'm willing to bet that if it is under 80/85% it will always fail (so far it is my experience).

One thing that they finally got right is the calendar. Being able to pretty much rebuild an entire squad in just a month is good, and realistic. 5 transfers at a time is that useless limit they like to apply, although it can be "removed" with the new calendar system.

In summary, I like it. They kept the basis, added some stuff, improved other, and made the mistake of changing the renegotiating terms part.

Hi, I use original lineup team, maybe better teams have better chances of signing......who knows, need to test it out using different teams.

Sergio Ramos is the defensive leader in R madrid, at least this season he should not be transfered to R madrid's traditional opponent Barcelona in real life. Possibly in the upcoming years Ramos will go to other clubs where he will be paid more than in R madrid. What annoys me is that in ML after Ramos left madrid, R madrid DF rating dropped from 82 to 77, its like madrid is not authentic madrid anymore, I want to beat genuine R madrid, not weak madrid.

Hope there is an option which gives you choices to change transfer activity level(this can be done in previous PES games).

Is it true you can buy Ronaldo for 34 million euros? I was just checking this ML video on youtube and saw one guy buying Ibrahimovic for 39 million and then making an agreement with Ronaldo, who would cost 34 million. How is it happening? I think in PES 15 the sums were a bit more realistic. For instance you had to pay almost 100 million euros to get Messi I believe, maybe even more, which is much more closer to reality than what PES 16 ML suggests?

Can someone shed some more light on this?

who I think it might be because Zlatan is 34 and Cristiano is 30. So, after 1 year in the ML they would be in decline and having lost some of their stats, it is possible... Also, did you manage to see if they were transfer listed by any chance?

No, that was the beginning of first season and first transfer window during summer. So its the same as someone would have bough Ronaldo for 30 million this summer. I`ve also watched other ML videos and you can get Walcott for 11 million pounds, Willian for 18 million pounds, Zouma 7 million. I think these numbers are a bit low.

I can't comment on smaller teams but with Chelsea it can be almost too easy to sign players.

I've been turned down for a few younger players that are in the 80's because the club doesn't want to get rid of a developing sicko but I managed to get:

Messi £55 mil - signed on first try
Aguero £49 mil - signed on first try
Sergio Ramos £23 - signed on first try
Cristiano Ronaldo £35 mil - signed on 2nd try

+plus a few others but these are the most notable.

Wow, thats something. :D You`ve got three best players in the world and one of the best defenders and paid even less than Man United in last few summers.
