Hi all,

apologies if this is covered somewhere else but I couldn't find the answer.

Was playing MLO this morning and came up against pablo_xerez_6.

I was winning 3-1 at half time, thought all was grand and went on to win 7-2. The match seemed fair enough etc but then I got an abusive message in Spanish. I got the gist of it and, as ever when a loser does that I just replied 'haha'. I don't let abuse get to me much but then he sent another nastier message (translated on google) which I really don't want to just let go. How do I report this guy and hopefully get him banned for his hateful language?

If your on PS3 you can also report them to Sony, I'm sure Microsoft have got something for the eggbox 360, as well. If it's on PC then not sure if you can do anything.

cheers mate, much appreciated I'll take a look at that.

Would be suprised if there's not somewhere you can complain to, especially as you can keep messages saved and when you can have children playing to, now it's difficult to know who you're playing against.

I'm no prude and don't mind a bit of slagging but some people go too far and need to be stopped from acting that way.:(

I dont think anyone will do anything major to him just because he sweared at u. Banning him for it would be the same as sentencing someone to jail just because he sweared at u. Police dosent do it. All u can do is force them to stop doing it by callling police. In your case, thats just blocking him and in that way stopping him swearing at u.

Ha- I'm not a wuss, swearing on it's own wouldn't bother me, this guy persisted and started talking about cancer and stuff and went too far. First time I've ever reported anyone (hence the query) but if he was to act like that to me when I'd not provoked anything I'd worry about what he'd be saying to kids who play the game etc.

its the unbalanced game that favors the trolls and makes them believe that they own the world. I have no idea which language I get abused in but I can make out that its something related to my family and it happens all the time.
PSN crowd is the worst in the history ...I've played more idiots,exploiters on PSN in a day than that I came across in my entire 1 and half years on xbl.
I believe the game is either extremely rewarding or extremely frustrating that brings out the best/worst in people.

Yep, there are plent of tools around, I beat some constant through ball spammer the other day & he sent an unprovoked message in Italian, the gist of it was 'my mother was a prostitute'.

I was beating some novice 4-1 @ 65th minute in a MLO special match (3 million + tickets fee up for grabs) and he paused the game turned on his wifi phone or some other hardware and started streaming from it...in the next few seconds the game gave me a 'quality has significantly worsened error' I am not going online again unless the manual pass support filters are top notch.

I think a small part of it is down to the in and after game chat feature being removed this year. While before these guys could feel like they're getting back at you by calling all your goals lucky or 'it's not over yet' now they have nothing so they message whatever they want afterwards.

Is a shame but let's use the reporting and get some of them banned then

Believe me I've played my part in communicating with konami. I've sent them many emails ,linked them to suggestions/speed merchant/hate van der mirch threads on here, and wrote to them how the PES community is planning to write an online petition about nerfing cheap players like van der mirch . They did get back to me with a reply just a day before they took detailed online poll from PES13 players.

I have myself totally stopped playing with pass support 3 ,doesn't matter whether I find a Ranked/MLO game or not.

Now Its upto Konami really whether they get rid of elements that instigates negative environment in general and bring back some of the positive elements of previous versions of PES....

I am sick and tired of how easy the game was made super easy since PES11...It all started with touch pass spam and then it lead to speed merchants spam in 2012. Now PES 2013 is somewhere in between PES 2011,2012 with a combiation of both of bit - touch pass spam and speed merchants spam online.
Not to mention how the introduction of tactical defending and off the ball runs gives such noob attackers a better advantage at exploiting the game.

I have loved PES forever and all but come on this PES(on default pass support) is way way way different than our beloved ISS,PES5-10.

Why did Konami have to zoom out the camera angles compared to the classic PES camera angle? just to accommodate through balls and make passing easier.
why did konami have to make one touch passing, passing in general easy since pes11?
I have no answers....I'll just observe Konami and deduce about the path they are heading down with a new engine in PES14.(to be honest things arent looking very positive as seabass claimed that PES team found the right sensivity with a PS controller in PES12)...
Least we need is a strong zero pass support community
