Advice on option files.

Hello, I'm new to the forum, though not PES.

Anyway, I'm enjoying this year's game on ps4 and would love to get the official teams, classic teams and players etc...but unfortunately I am not able to access a p.c

My laptop is broken and all I have is a tablet or my phone.

Trying to think outside the box I wondered if there was, as an example, any way I could download an option file(s) (any suggestions of the best one?) to my tablet or phone, which I think is possible, and then plug the device into the ps4 using the USB (charging cable) and attempted to transfer it that way?

Would the ps4 recognise the device and allow my to transfer any information?

I know it is a bit of grey area regarding that sort of thing.

I did buy a USB stick, the SanDisk Cruzer Blade 16GB, but have since read numerous reports that it will not work on ps4.

Apparently it also must be in FAT or something, and I don't know if it is out of the box and if it isn't how to make it so.

Despite my post I'm not a total tech caveman, but I've never tried to do this before and I don't want to make a mistake and corrupt something, if that is even a possibility?

So any help would be very much appreciated, guys.

Put simply;

1) Can I download and transfer an option file to a tablet or phone then onto the ps4 as I described above ?

2) If not, is the SanDisk Cruzer Blade 16GB definitely a non starter?

3) if it is, will it be FAT enabled out of the box, and if not how would I go about making it compatible?

Sorry for the length of the post but I am really looking forward to getting all the official stuff, and thought this would be the best place to seek out advice.

Thank you.

Does your tablet have a USB port or an adapter to connect one? If so you could download & extract the file on your tablet then copy it to the USB which will already formatted in FAT.

Connecting your phone or tablet to the PS4 most likely wont work as you need a folder in the root drive called WEPES

Thank you for trying to help, Paul.

I got my laptop working earlier and I think i got it done.

I definitely downloaded the file, I renamed it on my usb, but haven't tried it yet.

Fingers crossed.
