After playing years of Fifa...

I thought to give PES 2013 a try just 3 months ago. I was surprised to see total differences of how the two game play!! I mainly play offline and on Manual controls, and despite some flaws in the game, I found that the
gameplay, animation, AI, passing and shooting system surprisingly far superior than Fifa! I believe that this game requires more thought, skills and patience in order to play. Once you know your controls, this game can be a total joy. The AI cheats... but for those of you who play Fifa might agree that PES doesn't come close to fifa's scripting issues, which to a point, feels that the game engine totally dictates and controls the play. I don't feel this as much in PES.

I'm just wondering why is there a lot of negative comments about the game in this Fan Forum while the game really surpasses its competitor in many areas?? Really looking forward to PES 2014...

PES rocks! Offline and Online....

The negative comments are mostly directly at Noobs who spam throughballs to speedyplayers.The game plays nearly flawlessly on Manual controls online.

The shooting is bollox on PES13 but the passing and build is much better and more satisfying.

Shooting still a bit hard to learn for me. Very hard to score so far. I guess I won't try to spend much time figuring what am I doing wrong since PES 2014 release is just around the corner.

Fun? This is the most unrealistic, embarassing, scripted football game of all time. For every good thing there are few hundred negative ones. It looks like it was made in a day for online use only. Konami stopped making good football games long time ago. I haven't played FIFA in five years probably, so I can't compare them. If FIFA is worse than this garbage, EA should seriously consider stop making it. However, I highly doubt that. At the very least, they have licenses. This wasn't a big deal when Konami were actually making enjoyable football simulations and not RPGs, but not anymore.

Glad to hear someone's enjoying PES 2013, though. I thought it was an urban legend.

True. When i first got pes 2013 i thought it was a very biased game, unfinished and lacking, and even though its not that perfect, i can tell its really quality and beast when it comes to football simulation game.
But when you play against speedy players that just use Ibrahimovic, vucininc, pirlo or others, you're so mad you're about to break your controller. So i wish they could improve defense composure and close-to-player markage to work that out.
Also for people saying pes is shit. They are just the same people that say messi is shit b/c they like ronaldo or the other way around. F!cking noobs that never had the possibility to handle both games but make assumptions based on other noobs sayings.

Although there are a few who still enjoy PES 2013 like Sabatasso or whatever it is named, PES has been garbage truck juice compared to Fifa. Fifa isn't the best it can be but it sure as hell plays better than any PES title since 2006.

Not looking for any changes this year ......a lot of us former pes players are nailing the coffin shut on Konami this year......just tired of all these promises year after year after year.....

Is it only me who knows that PES 2014 will not be released on PS4 or the XBOX One ....because their next gen fox engine is too old? :huh:

So PES 2014 will only be on xbox360 and PS3 .......way to move forward ....

I have played FIFA lately though, and I find the AI defensive ping-pong passing especially intriguing. Makes me smile when the central defenders surpass 25 one touch passes back and forth while standing less than three meters apart. I guess you never noticed all the stupid little things in your beloved FIFA, because you're a fucking inbred hypocrite OCRASS.

That being said, I would give FIFA 3/6 and PES 4/6 so it's not like I am hugely in favor of any of the games.

PES 1.03 is obviously the version number. They give it a new version number every time they patch the game.

Additionally, anyone that has played both games know for a fact that both games suffer in many of the same areas but has gotten different things right as well. I just wanted to share my thoughts after switching to PES 2013. It looks like some members are completely dissatisfied with the game in a very bitter way. I guess there will never be the perfect game that satisfies everyone's taste and opinions will always vary based on what you're concerned with most in the game. In my case, I find that the game is much better in the area of game play (single player, manual control) than Fifa, having mainly played fifa for the last few years

And I had the same opinion, when I first tried Pess, Fifa always looked to me more arcade.

The pess 2013 version is rejected by the majority of users worldwide this why you see these problems and in hear. Konami said something like “we are not goanna repeat the same mistakes” and we all wait to see the new mistakes, ops game.
