After the recent update, players no longer restart to be able to edit them?

I was just checking on my game as well, I haven't made the live updates in a few months and I didn't apply the player/squad data on the last 2/3 datapacks (only ticked the box to update the national teams on the Euro 2020 datapack), and I don't have this problem. So yes, the problem might be something related to the latest live update.

Thanks, i appreciate as much help as possible, cause the support team may try to find any excuse to not investigate, so knowing the problem exactly to describwe it, is pretty decent as feedback.

Now all i have to do is sign in my second profile, start recording with the game without Live Update, and then break my game , by applying the Live update and show the results.

Checked it and re-created it live on camera. it is the OFFICIAL LIVE UPDATE of 16/07/2020 that is responsible for the bug. Enjoy with subliminal messages in players name, cause my video editor program sucks!!! :p

It really makes me mad, that we work for free for a company, in order to do the job, tha they should do, since they get paid by us to do this job, Support, Quality Control, gametesting, etc..

Applied the Live Update of yesterday. Still bug is here. No response from KONAMI in my email and no any notice in game notes. Mark that next Thursday is the last Live Update of the year, so i assume if they don't fix, we have to live with it... :(

So tried to do some edits yesterday, it is impossible to bascopy, i did 3 players only, by taking pictures of the TV by my phone, the Body physique and the Motion settings, all the rest can be found to pesmaster, but instead of 1 minute, it now takes 3~5 minutes.
Also i wanted to create some new teams, over the Bundesliga created, but without being able to default, i dont know which player was which fake, before he was edited.

I am thinging of doing an other try, although i do not give many chances. I plan to break again my second profile game , which is now reverted to vanilla, without any LUs and after i apply LU and bug the game, then apply again a LU with both boxes Club/NT squads unticked and see if it has any effect, although i highly doubt.

This bug is destroying the game. I hope they care to fix it.

I don't have this bug, if I export my teams and you import them ticking the "player data" box (2nd box I think) would it fix the problem with the live update players? If so, you'd lose the latest game plans and perhaps a few players would be in free agents instead of their teams, but it could fix it. My squads are from February or March I think, I haven't updated the club roster in a while.

If it works, I could try exporting them. It would take some time but it might save the game for some.

I think they will not fix it, the only way to know which player is real or fictional is to have the physical database (paper) of the original game. In other words, look for the names of the players of the fictitious national teams (Mexico, Uruguay, etc.) As well as the fake leagues.

If we are positive and stick with PES20, and like to keep the game up to date as well as possible, we will have too much work and time (fun and frustrating) to fix the game.

But it is a fact that konami has screwed up. Sorry for the expression.

Ive just had to re install my editing (Luckly) id saved it all on USB Stick cause all my images had disappeared. So i had to delete my Edit file and Back up edit file and relaunch the game. ive just edited some players and the live update has gone from the players ,so you can reset the stats (Worked for me)

Can you clarify the steps:

1) I delete my EDIT and backupEDIT files from ps4 datamanagment.
2) i launch the game?

Is n't this revert the data to default? I mean no edited faked players, no edited teams , etc.... Also don't i loose my "free agents" like Van Persie, Robben or the restored players like Ansu FAti?

thats right it does go to Default, but export your edited teams first onto a USB Stick , then just import it back, I had no choice tbh, All my Images had gone. not sure about the free agents ive not looked sorry

Today was the last LU. I don't know if they can fix it with a simple update. It seems we are stuck like this.
Since the Ted editor doesn't have any effect to fix it, the options are workarounds.
So of I erase all my edit, then start the game and grab & paste the edit.Bin and system data from someone that backed up the vanilla disk files, I can start from a good point? I mean all free agent players removed, will be in game?
