Age you should let players go?

It's coming near the end of the season for me and a few of my players are becoming 30/31 and i was just wondering when do their stats start to go down so i can release them. So what age will be the best time to start letting players go? :)

Just look at their curve. Some players, though, have special abilities that make them worth keeping even if their stats drop (Maldini, Larsson, etc...).

Varies completely player to player. If they can still do a job for you, keep them.

Do bear in mind though that hanging on to them fills minutes on the pitch where one of your young talents could be using them to boost their stats. I always recycle players fairly early in their career, normally because I find so many players by searching the market that I just want to put on the field instead and try them out. Generally I have no one past 30 years old unless they're super special!

Sometimes may be on of ur players has shoot acc 94 and u observe that it becomes 93 after he become 31 years old , yeah his abilities is decreasing but it is still better than waiting for a talent with shoot acc 87 to develop and become 93, I.e i will never let Javier Zannetti go!!!!

Will i let them go? No. I will keep them for a couple more seasons or more before looking at letting them go. But Casilias will be with my team untill he reaches 34 - 35.


If you have players who are 25/26, don't let them go because they are most probably in thier peak. Players between 32-36 you should look at getting rid of them. Because, they have gone past their peak, stats decreasing or only have 1 or 2 seasons left.
