Played the demo for 2017 A LOT, absolutely loved it, great defensive AI by the CPU, closing you down all the time, just making it very difficult for you to get through and create chances. Played on Top Player, and it was always a good challenge to get a result, and you'd feel proud of that result, because of how hard you had to work for it.
Picked up PES2017 first thing this morning. Played the first match, won 4-1, with relative ease. OK, maybe I'm having a good day.
But I kept winning matches, and just now I just took a completely crap team like ADO Den Haag and easily defeated Arsenal, while also still missing chances (nr 1 striker was actually benched due to the Live Update), and you just create chance after chance after chance. I'm playing on Top Player with ADO against Arsenal and it's just ridiculously easy to win.
This is hugely disappointing, because I only play SP, and while the AI in the demo was tremendous and just lots of fun to play against, this is not.
I can't be alone in noticing the vast difference in difficulty between the demo and the retail-release. What happened!? And why didn't they just stick to that AI which was so great in the demo...?
