Click the Browse button, locate the file on your computer and click upload.
Once you've uploaded the file you need you will locate the file at 'http://www.softlab.ece.ntua.gr/~sivann/pub/Uploaded/filename.filetype'
For example: ‘http://www.softlab.ece.ntua.gr/~sivann/pub/Uploaded/PaulB_BecksFK.wmv'
Notice how I've included an underscore in the filename - its best to do it this way or stick to a one-worded filename - so that you don't have to type in "%20" which constitutes a space in the filename. (Although some browsers do automatically translate a space into "%20.)

YouSendIt - http://www.yousendit.com/
PutFile - http://www.putfile.com/
Rapid Share - http://www.rapidshare.de/
Use Rapid Share as a last resort, as it can be a pain in the arse for people trying to download.
They remain there indefinetley on both as far as I'm aware with no limitations on how many of them - put file possibly has a limit.Reyes9 said:Do softlab and putfile keep the files available permanently or are they deleted after a certain amount of time, or number of downloads?
I often use yousendit, as it seems to be the easiest and quickest, but that can be a pain in the ass, as people can block it at the click of a link, so I now have started to use rapidshare as it keeps the file on there for an unlimited period of time.
www.youshareit.com is quite good aswell, as it allows 100 downloads, 75 more than yousendit.

I and many others find rapidshare a pain in the arse because when you follow someones link it says you've exceeded your download limit etc and won't let you download the file. And chances are the next time you try later on, it'll be the same. Its a frustrating process.
Let's face it though, one way or another - they are all a pain in the whatnot
