Asking for ball

Just started a BAL season because every other gamemode is pissing me off.

Got a question tho, is RB the right button to ask for the ball? Because he does raise his hand but none seems to pass the ball to me.

Double tapping RB is calling for ball, but you have to be in good position. Also you need TEAMWORK, give yourself and your teammates some time.Let them get used to you.

BAL mode may piss you off as well. LOL.

I quit playing BAL due to the FF option not working while you're on the bench or get subbed off.

I've since become rather irked about ML as the defending and GK's are worhtless.

Why KONAMI, why?

I feel your pain Gibelini.

I'm holding out hope that the next patch helps if not, I may delete the patch and try ver 1.0 as people say it's better pre-patch.

I would like to know what happended in between the DEMO's and the actual game release. Far too many people loved the DEMO's and feel the actual release are 2 different games.

seriously you need to give the game more time.... in BAL your player sucks at first... and there is no point in trying tricks and flicks as you will just loose the ball. "keep it simple" if you are new to this mode it takes time to learn how to play... its as much about movement off the ball.. and being in the right place at the right time.

Expect to be subbed alot over the first few seasons.... quite simply your player doesnt have the stamina to last the whole match.. this improves gradually over time

here are some tips...

to improve your match rating... you can pick up easy interceptions by heading away incoming corners. find your spot near the front post and header/volley them away as they come in.

try to score goals by getting on the end of corners... dont just stand still.. make a dummy run to get space then charge in for the header.... it wont come off much but you will get the odd goal

i honestly think the most important thing is to play simple passes and make good runs into space.

call for the ball ...double tap R2... but do it when your in space and your team mate isn't marked to heavily... otherwise the pass wont make it

your style of play will relate to what position you play... i play Right midfield but often find my self drifting inside or even switching wings to get on the ball more..

the more you play the better your player gets... so essentially the game gets easier and more fun.

at the beginning its tough but stick with it and you will be rewarded... for me this is what makes the BAL mode brilliant.

when you get into your 6th season you will be scoring and assisting for fun
