My first 360 came with AC which was was great can't wait for this.

I hear there is going to be some kind of double hidden knive, is this true?

I honestly thought they would have gone with medieval japan, seeing how these mechanics and physics and gameplay would suit a realistic ninja game immensely

(Just sub the Templars for Samurai and there you go.. wankfest for ninja buffs like me..)

I do believe that the first version was repetitive, but it still kept me wanting to continue. It felt so smooth and my expectations for other games grew immensely only to be shatter by the fact that most of them don’t come close to one of my first experiences in next generation gaming. Now that the second part is coming, I think that I will definitely buy the game. Even if it is as repetitive as the last one, its graphics and game play are worth it. Hopefully my leap of faith will be rewarded.

Yeah, i'm waiting for another Tenchu game that was as good as the first....

But putting assassins creed in medieval japan would've been a mistake I think...It has a really unique idea going for it, and i think it'd be a mistake to make it a typical ninja game :/

all I'm saying is the gameplay in AC was exactly what a ninja game should be... maybe some more stealth kills would be a must... but even if it has nothing to do with the actual AC storyline... would be great.

all that roof running and hiding and whatnots... and the evading moments (which was 25% of the game..) is uber ninja...

Assassin's Creed got a lot of criticism and probably rightly so but I did enjoy the game. The story being a large part of that. The end left up so many options on how the game would be progressed if it is going to be through Desmond in present day or maybe through another character with the Animus (which seems very likely).

I have to admit that despite the whole Animus thing happening at the beginning of Assassin's Creed, they did very well to keep that portion of the gameplay a secret. I was pretty shocked when Desmond was revealed. At first I wasn't happy with this plot twist but I gradually began to accept it and realized it opens up to a possibly good franchise with plots happening in both past and present.

I expect the gameplay to improve but It is definitely the story I am most looking forward to about this sequel.

Maybe it's because the Da Vinci Code is on channel 5 and AC2 has alot of Da Vinci in it but they keep showing adverts for this already.

I thought the first one was pretty good just to relax with because it wasn't massively taxing. It looked nice and was easy just to dick about on. Now after reading up on number 2 I must say I'm excited. Hiding under water and diving around Venice will be stunning. Also some new ways to execute people should add more depth.

the first Assassins Creed had the makings of a good game, although the map was huge & the game was so repetative, but if they change some things in AC2 I'm sure it could be a lot better than the original
