BAL mode: some attributes don't improve!

Hi

My player is a CF and I'm on the second season.
I've been trying to improve top speed and acceleration...
but still the same.

I have 6 points on speed and still
top speed 74
acceleration 66.

i dont know what to do.
is there some extra requirement to improve these attibutes????

now i feel i've been wasting this points for long time now.

any clue???
