all bar keane went through the academy.
Nowadays I find Ghana's midfield very good with Essien, Muntari and Appiah (possibly Barusso). For style, grace and a lovely passing game it's Spain with Fabregas, Xavi, Iniesta as well as Xabi Alonso, Senna and Albelda.
As for our midfield there's an unbelievable amount of quality, but they still have to gel. Van der Vaart is world-class, Sneijder, Seedorf, Heitinga (DMF) Schaars (coming man), De Zeeuw etc. There's enough diversity in qualities, but Van Basten doesn't seem to be able to find the right formation or he's afraid to leave either Sneijder or Van der Vaart on the bench.
I'd go for Italy though as they have a more balanced midfield. With Pirlo, Gattuso, De Rossi and Totti. I was thinking about who'll replace Totti, your thoughts on this please?
Agreed
Spain also has good wingers in Vincente and Joaquin

Isn't Heitinga used as a CB most of the time?
I also like the midfielders of Ghana. They impressed (me) at the World Cup and to be fair, they should have won the game against Brazil. They were the better side. Brazil got two offside goals(it was only the third goal scored by Ze Roberto[:erm:I think so] which wasn't offside) If my mind serves me correctly, in the end they should have got a penalty, one of their players shouldn't have got booked, he didn't dive. The first two goals were enough to spoil/lower their morale.
Well, I'm looking forward to see him play then![]()
And yeah, Camoranesi is a prick, don't like the cunt. mufcsean, he was born in Argentina.
