Black boots serious turn off

I cant stand the black boots and thats the only reason im gonna stop playing until konami resolve it. Seriously theres no pt with black boots in ML when it takes decades to earn nike/adidas boots( i got only we/pes boots), theres no league mode to enjoy the normal boots, players get super powers after magic boots.

The black boots really turn me off, they look so black and ugly on my hdtv screen! Why does konami have to torture us with these stupid ideas zzz. And just scrap those we/pes boots for god's sake they look ugly with that stupid zigzag design.

Just watch any modern game of football, who still wears entirely black shitty boots no one does.

And why does luis suarez still have the old hairstyle zzz konami.

Yep, i ll start a ML soon after installing new WENB file 3 and chantspack but will probably get the same issues with it as you did I'm afraid...

Therefor I send an email to Konami to give us the option to switch ' the boots stuff' on or off. Also for BAL mode. We can only hope.

I'm not sure but another PES site evoweb, have alot of pc users and know all about pc patching and stuff. try it ...

for PS3 i don't think there is anything possible than just buy players and they will come with their own boots i guess

There are patches and/or option files to sort out the boots. But I don't understand the big deal,surely you like the game because of the gameplay and not because of some aestetic item?

Exactly, I don't see the point of the whole boots thing, and I really don't see why it would ruin someone's enjoyment of the game!

Its easy. Is because we want a realistic game, not this Final Fantasy football garbage game. I want to see Radamel Falcao with his white puma boots, and i want to have the possibility to use the boots they give in the menu. Because we want real football, and it´s impossible with this shit boots.

Hi panteraperez. Since making the post that you quoted I have found out more about the boots issue and I am also not happy with Konami for it, I can't believe they decided to make boots affect player stats so much, that's completely unrealistic, a stupid idea.

The boots feature will be removed in the next patch, available early December. Players will wear their assigned boots. Also, we will be able to change the auto-save option and save whenever we want. However, we will need to start a new "football life" game to see this changes.

PES 2013 will undergo a second patch early next month, Konami have revealed.

1.02 will be released on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 in "early December" to implement a number of significant changes; including the removal of the black boots and forced auto-save features in Master League.

Full details of next month's patch can be seen below:
[1] Fixes to the following issues:
Master League Online
* The transfer fee and contract fee shown when signing a player is different to the one shown in the breakdown of such costs.
* Changes to the squad and the team funds were not reflected immediately when signing/releasing players or receiving gate receipts from matches played.
Master League
* Sometimes the game would freeze when items obtained in Master League Online were used.
Performance Training
* It was impossible to complete the "Long-pass" training when Pass Assistance level was set to either [0] or [1].
* It was impossible to complete the "Manual-pass" training when the cursor was set to "fixed" when using Personal Data other than "no.1".
Edit mode
* Sometimes the game would freeze when importing PES 2012 data. This applies to cases where implementing the data would result in players switching to wearing boots which were issued in PES 2012 Data Pack 3.

Information
* When a new Data Pack was implemented, users were forced to restart their hardware as a message informing them of non-matching Data Pack versions would be displayed rendering some game features such as Master League Online, Competition and the Widget inaccessible.

General
* Users can now choose to enable or disable the Auto Save feature in game modes including Master League and Become a Legend by selecting [System] then [Auto Save] in order.
Football Life
* Players will wear boots which are unique to them in both Master League and Become a Legend. Any editing done to player's boot settings will also be reflected. However, please note that this only applies to save data created after the implementation of this patch file.
* Changes have been made to how teamwork levels between players increase.

Konami have also posted up a list of issues that they are currently investigating:
Online
1. Customers can be paired with users they added to the Match Block List.
2. Sometimes, the bonus prize money earned after a Special match can be shown as being 0.
3. In Inter-Community Matches, customers are sometimes unable to substitute COM controlled players.
4) If you play a 2 vs 2 match in Ranking match, but then try to play Master league Online and any other one player online matches without deleting the guest user, no matchmaking will take place.
Master League Online
5) After matches, customers may be returned back to the Online Main menu. An error message stating that an unexpected problem in communications with the PES 2013 server is then displayed.

If only they could've got it all right first time! I say first time, but it's not is it, how many years have they been making PES now, including ISS before that!? Pretty poor to release a game with so many things wrong with it.

Also, it can be frustrating enough ditching your much loved ML team when a new version of PES comes out, never mind 'mid-season.' I understand why we'd have to start new campaigns, but of course this wouldn't be an issue if they'd got it right for the September release, not 3 months later!

This is great news but I wish I would of found out about this earlier so I would have stoped playing my current ML
