I really feel to buy this game. But if I buy this, I then have to buy Gold and then a microphone. Ffs.

And you know you'll need a good headset, so there's another £40/£50! I wouldn't recommend getting it just yet, tbh. Give them time to address the issues etc

I wouldn't say he really "needs" a £40+ headset. I've not used one for the entirety of my Xbox 360 experience, in fact, I've probably not spent more than £40 combined on the few headsets I've bought over the years. The regular headsets are decent enough to get by, so I wouldn't prioritise this - just get the game and online, and then if you're really enjoying it, then maybe contemplate a bigger purchase, but keep in mind I believe you can actually get the generic Microsoft headsets for free from Microsoft if you simply write to them.

If you do decide to get a headset dont go for Turtle beaches X41's. Dont get me wrong they're fucking awesome headphones but they go through so many batteries it's unbelievable. I usually have to change the batteries every time I wanna play, of course I've got rechargeables but it's still a pain.

Yeah I'm playing now. I have to keep quitting out of games because it becomes soo bad. Only finished one game out of 6 or 7.

I actually managed to go 20 for 4 on the airstrip level with it lagging like a motherfucker. Got too much in the end so stopped playing public matches.

Switched on for a quick play this morning and there's a patch for the 360. Dunno what it does.

Saw it on Twitter earlier. They don't give notes on what it fixes, though!

edit:

Apparently fixes killstreak glitches.

Bugs allegedly resolved by the update include "UI error 226117" in Theatre/Theater Mode, an Escort Drone glitch which sees your trusty robot acquaintance attacking you from beneath the map, and a Dragonfire deployment issue. Man, I hate it when my Dragonfire doesn't deploy.

Went to Tesco to pick up my 2100 Microsoft points, along with switching my Black Ops 2 for one which included the Nuketown 2025 map which wasn't a problem.

The Black Ops 2 game was delivered to my house, whereas I had to go and pick up the 2100 points in store, despite them being from the same order. Naturally I assumed Tesco Direct had ran out of stock for the points, but upon collection tonight, the website had just delivered my points to my local store as opposed to my house. Worse still, it wasn't even Microsoft points, but instead a 12-month Xbox Live subscription upon opening the package when I got home.

What idiots  Sell the 12 months for a profit ;)

Has anyone jumped on single player yet? It's usually the first thing I do but I've been playing so much multiplayer and Zombies I have actually got round to it. I've heard it's same old same old but I've heard the ending is decent.

Only played MP so far.

I sent a stroppy email to Activision, they replied saying it had since been address and troubleshooted, yet didn't tell me how? The latest patch notes don't cover it in any way? :realmad:

I thought the latest patch sorted out the killstreak glitching.

Started single player on hardened, some good missions and a decent storyline (very similar to previous CODS - chase the bad guy etc)

One mission I've found to be meh and one I didn't like at all. Once you fail it though you get the option to skip mission.
