Me and 3 mates stayed up pretty late last night playing zombies. We finally killed George but it took soo long! Ended up running out of ammo and money and having to keep knifing him.

Why cant you ever get a good game online? Every time all i get is Lobby Closed and then i have to join another game only to be put in a team thats getting the kick shit out of them.

The max amount of games i can play in a lobby before it closes for some reason in 2 WTF.

360 or PS3?

I can usually play in the same lobby for at least 4 or 5 games minimum if I please, often longer. It depends how I deem most of the players gameplay mind, and if I think they're annoying I'll leave.

This is on the 360 by the way.

Could one of you Xbox owners log into Black Ops and let me know what rank I'm at? Considering borrowing the game off a friend to rank up and prestige in order to get a token for MW3.

Cheers ;)

Just thought Ziss, could you not just log onto the Xbox website and/or Call of Duty site to see your rank? I'm sure you can do it that way, and look at your stats too.

Just thought I'd have a few games on Black Ops again. It was certainly quite a funny time.

I probably played 4 or 5 games. It seems though that another player took offence to how I play the game. Bit strange in a way as I assumed we could play with whatever style we liked. Long story short, as usual, he sent me messages along the lines of "u camp bitch", "dude u suck" and even "u cant even prestige boy ur a bitch".

I obviously informed him that prestige didn't equal the quality of the player, not to mention I rarely play this game anymore, yet I was still scoring better ratios each game. Personally, I'd much rather finish a match with 8 kills and 3 deaths, as opposed to 15 kills and 12 deaths.

Still, it's these moments that I find quite funny and definitely entertaining.

I just love the "fine thanks nobhead" above Ziss, as if he's responding to a message upon realising he's just a terrible player.

Anyway, I've really been playing Black Ops quite a bit lately, probably equivalent to an hour or so a day. I've recently prestiged, and so the challenge of working my way back up is proving to be more fun than I anticipated. I think the long break from playing the game helped though, as it'd been several months since I'd seriously picked it up.

My favourite combination is probably the M16 suppressed, but of course it depends upon the map too - I'd never use the M16 for a small, close quarters map - it just wouldn't work. I'm more of a sit back and pick people off kind of player though, a modern day sniper. But of course with the sniper rifles being completely pointless given the maps in recent games, the semi-automatic assault rifles take their place.

I did notice that you've been playing this. I bought a copy for £10 off PlayTrade couple weeks ago but the timing was poor as I soon after really started getting into Battlefield 3.

I've not really played Battlefield 3.

I did play the beta near it's release, and while I really loved the larger maps, the use of vehicles I just despise. Tanks, and all this nonsense on multiplayer is just shit in my view. I like the idea of player vs. player, and the team with the best players and teamwork wins, not the team with the most gadgets, air support and vehicles zooming about.

I was never sure whether you could turn vehicles off for the Battlefield 3 multiplayer, so I was never convinced to spend £30+ on it I guess.

I was of the same opinion on vehicles, but after you get used to it, you can take them out (Javelins with the aid of SOFLAMs (for air-support).

The maps are just too big to not have air support/tanks. PC you could argue is doable, as you can have 64 players on some servers...

EDIT: You can choose servers with no vehicles. Oh, and it's down to £25 now ;)

You can choose servers with no vehicles on the Xbox? If so, thanks man, appreciate the information. I may contemplate the purchase at some point soon - not yet mind as I'm really enjoying Black Ops right now so I'll ride that until the wheels come off I think.

I just dislike - maybe dislike is too strong - but having several different games at the very same time is a bit of a waste I believe. I like to play one game through if I can and really become immersed in it, which is sometimes difficult to do if you've got several other games that you feel almost compelled to play too.

BF3 will have a long life; they're not releasing a BF4 this year, but bringing out big add-ons.

We tend to only play Conquest (similar to Domination), but other game types, I believe, take out all vehicles. Some maps (like Metro) just don't have them as it's mainly all indoors/underground, also.

I'm still playing Black Ops more than any other game that I own. Even I'm surprised. I never expected to be playing Black Ops nearly two years after it's release.

I've been doing really well this past month also, since prestiging, probably averaging a ratio of at least 2.50 each TDM. Unfortunately though, the past couple of days, I've just sucked major nuts. My gameplay hasn't really changed, I still like to sit back and pick enemies off from mid-long distance with an M16 or FAL. I'm of the belief that perhaps I've been playing with and against 'rushers' and headless chickens quite a bit lately - and as such, the spawn points differ dramatically every second as there's no real tactical approach. I'm finding that when I'm in trouble the most, it's often in close-combat situations - and by the way, the knifing system still needs altering slightly. The way it should be improved is; if your knife makes contact with your opponent, it kills them, and if your knife swing doesn't touch the enemy then they don't die. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels hard done by when replays show that the swing of the knife was a good yard away from your body.

Overall though, for the most part, I'm still thoroughly enjoying the gameplay.
