I do the same, but only when frustrated, was going to use that Danger Close for n00bin' when Im playin the Hardcore Search & Destroy. Does it make much difference to the explosions, anyone?

Apparently the rocket launcher is deadly with Danger Close, the blast radius is supposed to be pretty massive - might be worth a shot, but it's considered quite cheap, a bit like grenade launchers, but fuck it, they're in the game for a reason.

Went 20-6 earlier on Quarry.

Of those 6 kills, all of them were via the n00b tube ¬_¬

I'd rather everyone camp than everyone run round give grenade launchers all match tbh. At least its quite fun trying to flush out campers from their positions. What isn't fun however is getting killed 6 times in a row by an idiot with a grenade launcher.

It requires no talent at all. Yeah I use them occasionally, from far, but what I can't stand are people that run round with them out the entire match because they can't get kills any other way :/

Edit: These new maps look so great. In particular, Bailout.

I have to say that you can turn the noob tube into an art form. I like hitting people from far away guessing if I can get them. Two of the best were on afghan and highrise. From the poppyfield in Afghan I killed a sniper on the mountain. On highrise i got someone in the lifts just after I exited one of the buildings in the middle section.

Although on my 2nd Prestige just now I have to build up my guns and complete challenges.

Anyone got their 10th Prestige yet?

Well I would only be using it for revenge purposes. Outside of that people who use grenade launchers and sniper rifles are fart knockin nonces.

The art of sniping is my speciality. I love everything about it, and probably snipe in 40-50% of the maps I play on. I've just this minute finished playing Derail, and was sniping with the Barrett for a change as this prestige I've been enjoying the Intervention. I went 11-2 I'm proud to say. A lot of people see sniping as "camping", but for me, I define camping as literally sitting in one position and looking at a specific passageway. I very rarely moved during that game on Derail - I was stood on top of one of the roofs toward the end of the map with the forest to the side - but I was scoping out near enough the entire map and picking people off who happened to run past. Patience is a blessing, and an 'ability' not many possess when playing the likes of COD.

The "r" on this keyboard doesn't work properly, meaning I have to "paste" the "r" everytime I need to use it, I'm trying to keep it's use down as much as possible.

As for being sniped, I don't mind it, I sometimes find myself saying "good shot" upon being sniped from across the map which I assume most run-n-gunners simply don't appreciate.

EDIT: Does anyone happen to know when the stimulus package is released time-wise?

I agree with Original about being killed by the sniper because one bullet kill's are a skill whereas getting a full clip from someone who doesnt even aim their gun makes me shit rage.

Anyway, I hope these maps are up at about 8am so I can give them a go before work. Id like to get a few games with Bryman and yourself Tom but when were online at the same time Im usualy on with three or four mates.

In case anyone is wondering, from what I've read, the Stimulus pack is coming out around 2pm in the UK.

Quite pricey in comparison to other game add-ons, but at least I know I'm going to be playing on the game a lot, I'll certainly get my moneys worth.

90% of the times Ive been killed has been with a UMP, its so frustrating. I dont know how people can stick to the one gun, I change weapon every few games and try to keep her fresh. I even have silencers for all my Sniper rifles now

Where did you hear about the patch and what's it going to do?

There's one thing releasing DLC, then there's another patching the game to allow the DLC to integrate.

Unfortunately the time between the two was some 4-6 hours, so a lot of people downloaded the DLC but couldn't play it.

Still, got a couple hours worth last night. Pretty decent. Double XP too, which'll help the Prestige-ing

A mate from school (he has 360) today said that there's been a patch brought out to stop modders having 3 guns and 4 perks in their classes lol. He was one of the cunts online who did it.

He said he used to have gold desert eagle, some assault rifle and then Intervention. For perks, he had stopping power AND cold-blooded >_<

I'm glad there's no people cheating like that on the PS3.

Haven't played this game much over the last couple of months but got back into it a few days ago. Getting back into form I just went 24-1 on Afghan, which involves 12-13 headshots! The ping of a sniper bullet exploding an enemy skull is so sweet and extremely satisfying.
