Hey everyone,
I can't find a way to cancel man marking in PES 2011. I know this was done by selecting the same player again to man-mark if you wanted to cancel it in previous PESs. However, that does not work in 2011. On top of this, the computer assigns random man markings at formation settings just before the game and you can not make any selections about man-marking at the main or league/cup menus. My main problem is playing at MLO, I have to check my man-markings each time before a game cause sometimes the AI does funny things like assigning all my markings to a left or right back...or a left midfielder....ridiculous!
Before I realized this I would play some games with my superior MLO team against almost default teams and lose by 2 or 3 and feel helpless at the pitch even though I consider myself a good player. After I started assigning players to correct opponents in those randomly assigned games, I hardly lose a game or have a tie at least. It almost feels like Konami found a way to favor your opponent no matter how good you or your team are cause even my defenders seem to allow the ball pass by them easier in those randomly selected games. This could very well be the reason why you can't beat your friends in every game in 2011 even though you are a better player.
Please help me with the man marking problem and share your opinions about losing games to inferior players.
