I like the ChatBox, but it would be a ridiculous idea to have it at this time of year - the site is barely running stable as it is.

One of the reasons it wasn't so bad "initially" before was because Sweey closed the 250,000 post spam thread, so that urge to spam had to go somewhere, hence the chatbox. But there's just way to many complications with the chatbox to even consider bringing it back a good idea I think.

For starters, we have Spammers Paradise now anyway, so the chatbox is essentially pointless. It would probably also descend into a series of ridiculous arguments given how the site has been in recent months, and it's not something that radiates a positive aura of strong community, especially with PES 2012 on the horizon.

The chatbox could be considered the plague.

I wasn't around when it was up and running but judging by the ongoing conflict between certain members I agree with Thomas, it would be a shower of shite. New joiners to the forum don't want to be reading that bollocks.

Well, it'd just be a laugh innit? I dunno maybe it might thin out some of the pointless banter that goes on in threads.

I know why you don't want it! Because you're scared of my superior wit. As is, people have got a good few minutes to think of a comeback and it levels the playing field. But in real time, no one could keep up with me. I can understand the motivation, but it's not my fault that I'm so talented.
