Is anyone polite enough to take 10 seconds from your busy day to reply and give me a much needed answer here please.
How do you find out what others players hairstyles are, if when on default it doesn't show the settings. Meaning you have to go through all the hairstyles to find out what that players default hairstyle is.

you don't. its not like the old pro evos where you had special hairstyles to choose from. To use the hair you need to base copy the person whose hair you want, then default everything but the hair.
Surely the 2nd base copy will just overwrite the hairstyle?

Nope.
Base Copy the player
You go to whoevers hairstyle you want, default everything except hair.
Base Copy again, this keeps the original player with the new hairdo.
You go to whoevers face you want, default everything except face.
Voila! New hair and new face

It does work honest first you need to select the face you want so say you wanted rooneys face you would go to rooneys player in united or england and at the bottom of the list click base copy.
Step 2 say you wanted Rooney new haircut for example Sneijders haircut copy Sneijder over the top this will give Rooney all of Sneijders stats and appearance now go on each option individually and default apart from hairstyle (YOU CAN NOT DEFAULT MOTION).
End result Rooney with new haircut.
If you wanted someone else to look like Rooney with the new haircut (or any other player you have made) go to a blank player slot in created players or the player you want to overwrite click base copy and default everything apart from face and hairstyle.
Remember to reset the original you messed up.

I use Lodeiro's hair (from Ajax) on Pato...and think it looks pretty good.
You can also use Luca Toni from Genoa hair..i try it looks good too
Yeah, I've got that part down, did Adebayor, Balotelli etc (the ones from early in this thread when I first came across it)
The part I'm not getting are these ones with a preset face AND a preset haircut (for example, the David De Gea one has Warnock's face and Vucinic's hair)

If you want rooneys face and messi's hair you have to create what you want over one of them first them exit and go to you create player, base copy what you've created with rooneys face and messi's hair and bingo. Then reset Rooney or messi, whichever one you used. It's simple. You must be freakin retarded not to understand this.

'freaking retarded' of course, this is one of those everyday things in life that everybody should know about right. I probably should have gone and looked it up in an encyclopedia or asked my Nan or something since you know, everybody already understands it and 'freakin retarded' people don't. You stupid little boy.
To lay it out in a simpler fashion:
1. Go to the player who's face you want to use (I'll use my example, I'm giving David De Gea the face of Stephen Warnock and the hair of Miguel Veloso for now. Go to Stephen Warnock)
2. Base copy as normal for the hairstyle you want to use. (In my case, I base copied Miguel Veloso over Warnock then defaulted the face)
3. Go to the player that will be receiving the new face/hair combo. Base copy the previous player over him (In my case, go to David De Gea, base copy the Warnock/Veloso hybrid over him.)
4. Default everything but the face and hair.
5. Default the messed up player used for the face (in my case, Stephen Warnock)
