Just announced on PESFan and a couple of others:

New additions:

Werder Bremen
4 new Spanish teams
3 new Italian teams

Thats about it.

No Sevilla licence or any other Bundesliga teams. Looks like the "Other A" teams going to stay the same, although according to Wiki (hmmm) Rubin Kazan instead of Lokomotiv Moscow.

Any new teams are welcome as far as I'm concerned.

Looks like we're gonna have to wait another year for the Blades inclusion though skj? ;)

Italian teams licensed? I thought that the entire Serie A was licensed, at least, it has been for the past years. Sounds a bit like bull cr#p to me.

Also don't trust Wiki, that is not an official source ;)

Maybe the info means the 3 newly license teams are the ones that got promoted replacing the ones that went down.

It hasn't been licensed since the whole betting scandal a few years back!

Dont think they will ever change the Premiership teams, however I love the way Aston Villa are referred to as West Midlands Village as opposed to West Midlands City. Proof that we are a bigger club

I can't start a new thread just for this but I would really like to know, if anyone has seen on either the demo or screenshots, which kits Tottenham have in the new game.

Obviously the white home kit, but is the blue away or black/navy third kit there. Also, which sponsor is on the shirt, Autonomy or Investec, and do they change from League to Cup games?

In PES2011, why is it that only 2 EPL teams are licensed. Why do all the other teams not get licensed?
Thanks.

Have you ever played any of the "PES" franchise from "KONAMI" before mate?
Every single one.......

But no one has ever explained the licensing thing to me before. If Manchester United are one of the big commercial giants of the game allowing themselves to be licensed, then why don't the rest of the Premiership teams jump on the bandwagon.
I don't care whether they are all licensed or not in PES, but why?
Just asking the question man............

EA Sports holds the exclusive license to the Premier League. They have signed a deal with the FA which allows them to have real names/kits etc. However, the FA has the adhere to the monopolies and mergers act, ie you cant sell one comodity entirely to one company (see Sky Sports/Setanta/ESPN) if a rival company is ready to bid on them, therefore each year they have to allow Konami at least 2 licences.

same with the bundesliga. but i think the contracts for the exclusive licences dont last for a lifetime, maybe one day we will get all the licences we deserve.

by the way i hope we will get the full team list soon, with all the unlicensed teams (and the amount of all slots for kits, emblems, etc.) so we can prepare ourselves for this years editing.
