I've been browsing the forum and I noticed almost 1/3 of the threads somehow link to complaints. I thought I might as well make a consolidated thread and share my thoughts to complaints.
C1: Button lag is gay
A1: Yes, I totally agree. It's extremely annoying when you can't execute a brilliant plan you concoct. I wish Konami would do something about it but the best (and only) answer I heard was to turn off our firewall, virus protection, etc... Unfortunately, I don't think anyone's came up with a consistent solution yet. The most I can suggest is blocking people you play with that you encountered severe button lag with.
C2: I've been losing a lot lately and it's really bugging me.
A2: This happens to everyone at a certain point. I would suggest stop playing immediately or you're going to end up tormenting yourself more. Take a break. Go play some real soccer or find a new hobby. I regret letting a video game get to my emotions at times.
C3: I HATE BARCA/REAL/BRAZIL USERS
A3: If you're truly a skilled player, then you know you're supposed to fight to the very end, despite what advantages are against you. If you won, great job! If you lost, at least you put up a good fight.
Or are you one of those people that don't use barca/real/brazil but still use good teams like England/Argentina/Inter and use speedy players and do the exact same thing? Too many hypocrites on here honestly.
C4: More action and fewer replays!
A4: I noticed people made communities to prevent this, yet I still encounter it a lot. Every time somebody scores on me or is offsides, they make sure to rub it in my face by scoring "GOAL!" or saying "No way" every single time to an offside. Yes, this includes community members as well. For those of you who don't do this, thank you so much, you know who you are. But once again, like I said - hypocrites...
C5: What's up with the penalty system?!
A5: This was my reaction too as I didn't know how to control it for the first few months (I didn't bother reading a tutorial on it). If you search on youtube PES2010 penalties, there's a lot of great videos that give you accurate and easy-to-follow instructions. It's not that hard. In fact, I applaud Konami for implementing such an excellent system.
C6: ONLINE PLAY SUCKS
A6: Despite my strong agreement with this, stop complaining. If you don't like it, stop playing online or deal with it. Personally, I started to get on less often and plan on getting Fifa 11 next time rather than pes 2011.
C7: Rating system is skewed!
A7: Yes it is, but why do you care so much about it? There's probably more abusers (those who tamper with lag) in D1/D2 than in any other league. Do you want to play alongside these cheats?
C8: Gameplay is good, but the AI fails.
A8: That my friend, I completely agree with and I can probably drone on about it for hours too. This goes back to my consideration of getting Fifa 11' despite my preference for the gameplay Pes has.
