the thing that bugs me the most is that the game did not reward you for playing way better than your opponent. everything seems so random, skills do not matter. you can make a damn good match, play better 90+ minutes and lose 0-3 with the opponent having 2 chances after mistakes from you. Got 5 100% chances but was not in the "right position" to score, ridiculous. i miss the days when the better player with the right skills ruled the game, those days are over

Tbh i see this happen every weekend in the premier league for the past 20 odd years , sometimes the better team dont manage to get away with a well deserved 3 points because the other team decided to park the bus for 80minutes and then catch you on a mistake , set piece or a counter attack in the final quarter.
I call this the stamford bitch, in other words watch chelsea do it vs better teams. its how they win trophies in the finals.

After the update, PES is brilliant. The best I played since 2010. It is more realistic, but I understand that for some it may not be realistic because there understanding of football game need not be the same as mine! Online play has also improved dramatically. In around 15 online games, I noticed lag in only one game which may due to slow connection of the opponent.

I have tried every FIFA game since 2010, but could not enjoy and looks boring with repetitive and predictable scenarios. In FIFA, it seems any player can score without regard to their ability. In PES understanding player capabilities is key to get good results. Overall, I am enjoying and I am sure there are many others who are enjoying it too. I assume they will fix the remaining issues. I think what is actually an issue and what is not is becoming difficult with such a good game as for some of the players the reported issue is not an issue. Regarding refereeing, I think when we do not get the foul it can be considered an referee mistake just like in real football! Shooting from outside the box not just require the right player but correct balance, posture and position ....

You don't understand how bad this game is, FIFA can be really bad for congestion in middle of the park but this game is woefully bad at this. The goalkeepers can save shots for all angle and distances but in the box their positioning is laughable and totally unrealistic. The ai defenders on your side are pathetic and the game has lost it's way. The good about this game is the movement of the ball and players, the graphics, and the ability to score the kind of goals that have always been a pes hallmark this is why I have so mourned the slow demise of this game, I truly hope they sort it out next year or I do feel it would be the end for this title as we know it and ultimately it would lead to is having to rely on ea sports to produce a good footballing experience without competition.
